I haven't been able to have a strong enough mentality so far to keep working to lose weight.
What are some thoughts to have to keep going?
Set up a gym schedule for yourself. Go to the gym 3-4x week, with a set routine there so you can track your progress. Once you get into that, for me it was the maintenance and hopefully furthering of the results I had already achieved. It wasn't much, arms got noticeably less flabbier at first. But just seeing how quickly, in about a week or 2, I noticed that, it was motivation in itself to keep it up till I get results in my core/legs as well.
Keep it up, after you reach a certain point a month or 2 in, the results will become visible much quicker. Make sure you enjoy the workout. Consistency, so a medium to light workout 3x week is so much more effective than a crazy HIIT once a month. Not gonna lie, but there was a lot of eye-candy I'd see there regularly, which helped serve as motivation in itself as well. ;P
Major problem is that many people follow a diet that leaves them hungry. This is not a happy feeling If you follow a well balanced nutrition plan, enough healthy carbs for your daily need, lots of vegetables and necessary proteins and ban unhealthy things like sweets, soft drinks, alcohol, ... you will feel better and also be able to maintain your gym schedule without feeling exhausted.
I just play video games and forget about food... I also have a fast metabolism so it doesn't matter what kind of a mindset I have my weight remains fairly low.

My gym definitely had some eye candy, and became good friends with one of them (a trainer). That's just one thing, but I kept thinking I can do this and forced eating right to where it became a habit, I was shedding weight fast. The more results I saw the raider it was for me. Granted I spent at least 3-4 hours in a gym a day 4-5xs a week, it was hard but well worth it. I got addicted to it t becomes a lifestyle and not a decision anymore.
The thought of the people who would love to see me give up and fail. And the thought of the new jeans i was gonna fit when i was done 😁
The desire to improve myself, and my resolve...
