I am starting an exercise class, mostly stretching and some cardio. I want to get in better shape because I was thinking of starting to learn karate and was wondering what is the best style to start with.
Depends on whether you are doing it as a workout or for practical/self defense purposes. Aikido is the most beginner friendly as well as most practical for real world self defense and it is also the least fitness-dependent.
