I personally don't give a shit less so long as they'll still go out to dinner with me and just order the salad and let me chomp into my steak.
The minute my morals and ethics are judged because I like to eat meat is the minute all my basic respect for that person diminishes.
Eat your veggies, deny meat, allow people to have omnivorous diets, and all will be fine. People who act like there's only one optimal diet for everyone on the planet are nuts, whether vegan, veggie, or omni.

No.
If the first thing that someone tells you when you ask them to introduce themselves is that
"I'm a vegetarian"
I think we are probably setting off on the wrong foot here by seeing how someone defines what he/she is by what he/she eats.
That's taking the "you're what you eat" saying a bit too far.
I don't dislike vegans or vegetarians until they start acting like asses towards a meat eaters diet. I have only a small group of friends who are vegetarians, and a mother who is heading on that path who I don't dislike because they don't come at me with pitch forks trying to convert me like those who treat it like a religion do. .3.
I'm not a vegetarian but that doesn't mean i dislike them. But sometimes i do bring up my diet not as a form of defense but just something to add to he conversation. I'd only be annoyed if they tried to change my diet and turn me into a vageterian bitwise never experienced that so far
Yes! People always ask me why I am one and then comment how they couldn't live without meat. I don't get why they're being judgy about my choice. Weird

I don't mind vegetarians if that is what you're asking. However being a vegetarian doesn't make me like the person either so I'm in the twilight zone with the poll.
As long as the person doesn't tell me how unhealthy or harmful eating meat is. If that happens I immediately begin to dislike some traits.Depends on a few things, but yes I like vegetarians but dating them is another thing because they will limit dining options.
The type of vegetarians I like are those that are on that diet to become more healthy. I think that is great and I will cheer for and support them.
But people who say they are vegetarians because they don't want to harm animals are just hypocrites to me. You're not ok eating meat but you're ok with eating plants? Why? Just because plants don't have a face does not mean they aren't also living things. Saying you're a vegetarian because you want to save lives just makes no sense at all. By saying that you're pretty much saying plants' lives aren't as valuable and you become just like those discriminators you hate.Well, last time I talked to a vegetarian, she insulted me for not sharing her diet, so I can see where the "defensive people" you have encountered come from. I don't care about vegetarians as long as they don't poke their noses in what I eat, which is none of their business.
I don't know why people get upset over this. I am vegan (not by choice) and when someone asks me what I'd like to eat, I have to tell them what I can eat. They get really upset and think I'm going to tell them how bad they are for meat or something, which is never the case. I don't care what other people eat or don't eat to be honest. If you're happy and healthy, then I think that's great. But maybe certain extremists have given others a bad impression.
Personally, I'm indifferent with vegetarianism. If someone is a vegetarian, it doesn't influence me, make me like them more, or make me like them less. Vegetarianism is a life choice that may not be for me (I like meat, what can I say), but I respect it if it is a life choice for someone else.
(So basically there was no "I'm indifferent" option, so I just chose A)Yes since I am one lol. But I don't go around and tell people "hey I'm a vegeterian, meat? eww no thanks" I respect them. I expect the same in return. Hate when people tell me I'm missing out. Like shut the fuck up and eat your steak, leave my stomach alone.
That's cool that you're vegetarian and kudos for that. I'm a meatatarian and vegetables for me are just way too healthy for my health
As long as 1) she isn't judgmental about me eating meat, and 2) don't do silly stuff like refusing to kiss me because I ate meat...

.. I have no problems.
I dated a vegetarian before. Outside of a few changes I made when I cooked (such as separating out my portion of my dish BEFORE i add the meat), her being vegetarian was never an issue.People tend to get defensive because quite a few vegetarians/vegan consider their diet as a sort of religion and they try convert every "meat-eater" they find. They can get really annoying. (BTW I'm vegetarian as well :) )
It is your diet and preference, why would I even have an attitude toward it? :o
I have vegetarian friends, and sometimes I try order vegetarian food too when I go out to eat with them. So it is fine. I am thinking of trying it out myself. ^-^i see no reason to dislike a vegetarian. this is a lifestyle they choose and it should be respected.
The only time I take issue with it is when they try to lecture me or guilt me about not being a vegetarian too: if you don't want judgment then don't dish it, then all is good.
My roommate is a vegetarian so I think it's safe to say I don't hate them lol
She does it because something in meat hurts her stomach.I don't have a problem with them. I have an aunt that is and nobody in my family thought anything of it. If they're rude about it, is the only time I'll care.
i only dislike poser vegetarians who only do it, because they think it´s cool.
I love vegetarians! They are compassionate and kind - even to animals!
Lol I don't mind em as long as they don't get in my face about eating meat, hunting, trapping or fishing then we'll be good.
Vegans on the other hand good lord keep them away from me.I am indifferent , divided I am not judged for being a carnivor. Each resin is entitled to eat what makes them happy or feel good.
I don't think I have met one but I am gonna try out being a vegetarian for three months.
I think it will be cool. 😎noby need to know you're a vegatrian so keep it to yourself its not anyones business anyway dont be all in your face about it and dont make any "why noone should eat meat" comments and you will be fine
