What does it feel like to eat meat again (after stint of vegan or vegetarian)?

Honey, it's not the vegan diet that's doing this to you and you don't need meat. A lot of people give veganism a try, they do it unhealthily, and then give up without actually doing research on how to do it properly. You need to get in those calories! A 25-29 year old male should be getting *at least* 2,500 calories and you aren't going to hit that eating only vegetables because they're so low in calories. Potatoes, sweet potatoes, rice, beans, and bananas, things that are higher in calories, should be your staples. You need to be carbing the fuck up or you won't last. If you still care about the animals, the environment, your health, and starving people in the world, I'd urge you to try again but this time do it correctly. Timothy Shieff, Jon Venus, Humerus Fitness, Vegan Gains, Plantriotic, Bananiac, Plant Based Athlete, Vegan Muscle and Fitness, and Vegan Hustle TV all have great YouTube channels about vegan health and can help you out a lot. Damn it, if the Hodge Twins could do it, you can too.
Also, to answer your question about eating meat again, it makes you feel sick for a while and you have really bad digestion. At first I stopped buying animal products from the grocery store and started eating only hunted meat (I'm Native American, so it's easy to get), but I went away to school for 6 months and when I came back, I had some moose stew. I felt terrible and sick, not only that, but I realized that eating meat still felt wrong regardless if the animal had a good life or not. When it was in my mouth all I could think about was the fact that I was chewing on a piece of flesh that was once the muscle of a living being with blood, veins, ligaments, and bones, just like I have. It was too disturbing, I had to eat something else instead, and I haven't had any meat since. That was about a year ago.
You're right about not enough calories.
This happened to me, I got pretty sickly because when I was a teen I was a vegetarian and you know as a teen no one likes veggies so my diet was pizza for every meal every day. I started out with chicken or I'd eat things that had meat in it like a spaghetti or something where it's not totally noticeable and moved on from there. Im very picky about meat though it's gotta always be well done, I don't want to see any blood or red uncooked meat, I won't eat it if it's on a bone and certain things I just won't touch
Thats how I've been surviving, too. Pizza and Whole Foods salad bar aren't cutting it
I don't know, because I stopped eating meat in 1975 and I never went back. I think I made the right choice. I'm unusually healthy for my age.
I think you just need to improve your vegetarian diet. You shouldn't be eating only veggies, obviously.

Only veggies? How do you survive 😱😱
Anyways, the first time I went back to eating meat was after like 1.5 months without it. Made my stomach churn abit but it was so full of flavors.
This was 2 years ago lol. I'm currently vegan.
Bro.. how can you give up bacon? It's the only reason to live on this Earth.
