Had a panic attack after taking a 5 hour energy shot. Has this ever happened to you?

One time a long time ago I took a 5 hour energy shot and had a major meltdown.

I was thinking that maybe I had a bad day and jt had nothing to do with the 5 hour energy.

Then this morning I had another 5 hour energy shot and I had yet another meltdown.

I haven't personally, but I have a very high tolerance. It's understandable and more common than you'd think. I know this goes without saying, but please stop taking them. Energy shots increase heart rate, and since the 5 hour one is in such a small bottle, it's packed with caffeine without much else to even it out. It's quick and probably intense.

Energy drinks can cause palpitations, and hyperventilation. That's happened to me before when I've overdosed on caffeine lol... when I've consumed too much coffee lol

I've never had 5 Hour Energy, but I sometimes have that reaction if I drink caffeine. Apparently my body is very sensitive to it.

If you have pre-disposed anxiety or nervous system disorders, it's best not to touch drugs or stimulants that tamper with your nervous system, otherwise things can go out of control. What you experienced was not uncommon. Stay away from these if you can.
