Doing that is saying that you think a guy's opinion is worth more than how you feel about yourself. I'm a plus size girl and I want to lose weight FOR MY HEALTH AND CONFIDENCE. Losing weight to impress a guy is for the wrong reasons. If you'll do that, then where does it end? Are you gonna dye your hair if you're a brunette and he likes blonds? Dress differently if he likes a different style? Change your musical tastes and makeup style? Don't change for a guy change for yourself if you want to. If you're at a healthy weight and you like your body, then don't change at all, love yourself and the guy who appreciates you will come. But if you are overweight and you need to lose it, do it for you. Men come and go but how you feel about yourself is forever. All guys don't even like skinny girls so don't think you have to look 1 way to attract guys. You have to get your self esteem right before you even worry about guys because girls with no sense of self get eaten alive in the dating world!

BUT, in all fairness, (and most people won't like this)
if you are having this dilemma,
that means you personally have a problem with yourself,
and if that's the case you really have to look at your health.
both mental and physical.
Losing weight for anyone is wrong in my opinion,
but if it makes you feel better about yourself, nothing wrong with that.
You're speaking of extremes and I'm not sure how do I respond. Think about what do YOU want for a moment. Do you want a skinny short guy or a big toned guy?
You want a guy that makes you feel secure. We want a girl that makes us feel we are securing her. It's nice when you know you're protecting her and that means she should be a little smaller than us in height, weight etc.
Since I'm a skinny guy, I prefer skinny girls. Buffy guys will prefer curvy girls. Examples can go on forever.
Dont change for a guy your beautiful the way you are and if the guy says dif. screw him and find some one who will treat you right

Guys don't care about a girl's weight unless it's either extremely overweight or extremely underweight. Most girls are too damn skinny, in my opinion. Girls care FAR more about their and each others' weight than guys do.
honestly I don't pay too much attention to size unless it overly unhealthy looking... No ,girls do not need to diet for anybody but themselves...
I like normal ones with something to grab and curves. Skinny with no boobs and bones sticking out is f***ing disgusting.
As for what you asked I don't see a problem with that. It's the main reason why I'm losing weight, but for girls not guys. lol

I like my girls to be well proportioned and most importantly soft to the touch. Can't be soft if you're thin as paper.
