Is my height a problem?

I'm a 16 year old girl, about 5'11. I've got wide hips, curves, boobs,and all that, but still slim and people say I'm pretty and so.. But I've heard so many guys saying that girls are supposed to be short and all my friends say that it's so cute when the guy is a lot taller so he has to bend when they are kissing and she standing on her toes and etc.

Sometimes I feel like I wanna cut of my legs because of that cause my height is just being a problem. I have a lot of good features, but is my height intimidating ? And what do you guys think about it? Are you being intimidated by tall girls in my height? And like I said I'm not the skinny girl, I have curves.

Unlike what someone else said, I don't think most guys prefer short girls like girls prefer tall guys. I think some guys have a preference for tall, some for short, and some don't really care. I think probably the great majority of guys prefer that a girl is their height or shorter though. But a lot of tall guys actually prefer tall girls! Does it sound comfortable for him to be all bent over like that while kissing? Either way, everyone prefers someone different and there is a guy out there that will love your height!

Giiiiirl I know just how you feel. I'm 17 and 6'3. I'm still "skinny" to my friends but I have curves and boobs... (as you can see :-P) and I've been with some guys.. lemme tell you. Lol. A LOT of guys like tall girls. Believe me ;-) Especially Canadians for some reason? Lol. One reason I started to look for guys outside of high school was cause of their height. Mostly it was cause of the maturity but whatever.. :-P But still, 5'11 isn't that bad.. Really. I mean, look at me.. XD

Oh, believe me. I've gotten people come up to me asking me how tall I am and most say I'm the tallest girl they've ever seen.. Lol. And some of them are some old guys too. Actually, a lot of old guys >_>

It shouldn't be a problem if you don't mind possibly dating a guy who is shorter than you in high heels (or even straight shorter than you.) At 5'11, you're taller than most men already. I'm your same height and personally, it wouldn't bother me at all though I would assume you wouldn't be interested due to the lack of a height difference.

When I was in high school I had a huge crush on a friend of mine who was roughly 6'0". Granted, I'm slightly taller so it might be easier for me to be attracted to tall girls than for a guy who is a few inches shorter. Just like with any other physical or personal trait, it's really a matter of taste.

I'm not from the netherlands, I'm 75 % bosnian and 25 % swedish. and both bosnian people and swedish people are pretty tall, but not as dutch people ^^

No way is your height a problem. If anything, it's an attribute.

I'm 6'1 so I'd still be taller than you. Plus, you know what they say about most short people - that annoying Napoleonic complex ;)

I know a girl that is 6 foot and wears size 11 shoes. I personally don't think it is cute ... BUT I may be one in a million. Hang in there and when the right guy comes along he'll love you for everything INCLUDING your height.

Being honest... I don't like it when a girl is taller than me. I'm 5'11" and I prefer my girls to be around 5'5"-5'8", anything above that and it's a turn off.
