1. Eat as healthy as I can
2. Avoid dairy (I'm lactose intolerant)
3. Drink a lot of water
4. Exercise 4 times a week
5. Get adequate sun exposure, but never too much because it could end up doing you more harm
6. I shave everyday and that really helps me because I guess I'm exfoliating
7. I only wash my face once a day before I go to bed
8. The only facewash I use is organic raw honey. It's an amazing cleanser. Non drying and works on oily skin. Plus your face feels really does feel clean afterwards
9. Apply aloe Vera gel to problem areas
10. Try to get good sleep
11. Don't let anything stress you out that bad.
12. Take a multivitamin or phyto blend that has plant nutrients in it
13. Don't pick or pop acne
14. Don't let anything touch your face
15. Change pillow sheets once or twice a week.
These are all the things I do to keep my acne under as much control as I can put on it.
Acne can't go away in less than two weeks, but I bet if you do most of the the above you will see results fast. Especially using the honey as a facewash. It has to be raw organic though because it has the most nutrients.
1. Change your bedsheets and pillow cases at least twice a week. Especially the pillow cases.
2. Use an acne prevention formula at least once a day (Proactive is popular, but most you can find will work).
3. Avoid touching your face without washing your hands.
I recommend washing your face with olive oil. Yes it is oil but think about it, those facial scrubs have a lot of chemicals.
Here is what you do:
-Wet your face with warm water
-Put a little olive oil on your face rubbing up ward and massaging your face, keep it on for 3-10 minutes.
-Take a towel and wipe off the all the oil completely
-Wet your face again but with cold water
Also use an exfoliant such as sugar water or salt water.
If your face is dry use sugar water.
If your face is oily use salt water.
Make sure that the sugar and salt water isn't completely dissolved because you want it to be like a facial scrub.
If you face is oily in some areas and dry in others, apply sugar water on the dry areas and salt water on the oily areas.
These techniques make your skin feel really good, my friend who is the beauty encyclopedia told me about this. It works but two weeks seems impossible to clear up completely. You need to give your self like 2 months to heal.
Also Extra Virgin Olive oil is best! There are things online that suggest using everyday home products and yes the do work.
I'd agree with a lot of what people have said here. Facial skin care basics is scrub (alternating days to prevent irritation), cleanser, toner (alcohol free) and moisturizer.
One thing that I use that works wonders is link You don't want to use it on a daily basis, but maybe a couple of times a week. This stuff practically dissolves black heads and cleans out pores like no other. I found some on clearance somewhere and figured I'd give it a try. Really was surprised with how well it worked.
This, combined with skincare basics should help, but clearing everything up in 2 weeks is pushing it. You should see an improvement though.

Try drinking a lot of water, it really helps. Also, putting honey on your pimples everyday and let it on there for 20 minutes. That always seem to help for me. Don't use soap to wash your face. Try something more natural. For me, I use oatmeal, and it really helps A LOT. Also, hydrate your face after you washed it. If you don't, your skin will become dry and it'll produce more oil and you'll get more acne. These tips help me a lot, and I have had my whole face covered with acne. Natural is the best, trust me! I hope you'll find something that works !
Using a product for less than 2 weeks won't clear out your acne, generally acne clears up within 4 weeks, so with that being said try anything with the Neutrogena line and see how it helps you. Also try not eating junk food, anything that's unhealthy cause acne, and when you wash your face don't dry it out with a towel, use a paper towel, it has less bacteria and you can toss it out. It works.
I wipe on a 10% benzoyl peroxide solution morning and night. It does work to keep the acne at bay. I moisturize before I apply the solution because if you don't, the stuff will dry and your face will be gross. I've never heard of these natural solutions that these other girls are talking about but they just might work too.
I tried using clean and clear, once it actually gave me spots rather than getting rid of them. The best thing to do is to first decide what skin type you have before you can conclude what would be the best treatment. The severity of the acne also makes a difference. Here are some natural things you can do now to prevent, and remove already present scaring. link
There are these pad things called "OXY" which work really well! It's just a salicylic acid on a cleansing pad that you wipe your face with once or twice a day, and that's it! It totally tamed my acne. You can get them at the grocery store. They're in a Black squarish bottle with a red label.
I have really oily skin, so I don't dry out, but some people do and have complained that it makes their face too dry.
Shower scrubs with a lotion after that helps prevent acne help me, it's a one two punch. Try to keep execs sweat and dirt off your face too! Might ask your doctor, they can prescribe some powerful stuff, which I've seen clear up faces in just a week.
I just go to the beach. The sun, the water and the salt all do wonders to kill that acne.
Also getting less anxious will do wonders.
Sun light and lots of water always seems to work for me.
I just drink a lot of water. That helps tremendously along with exercise.
Anything with Benzoyl Peroxide.
Proactive works wonders for my face
I just let age take care of that.
They use their own wee, LOL!
