Well firstly Id suggest just try to find something to motivate you, it could be in a physical sport that you enjoy. You could even just try to do it more often and don't initially focus on the getting fit part (it generally would take up to 2 weeks before you physically notice) but just try to enjoy yourself in whatever physical activity you enjoy doing.
Healthy eating wise, just try to incorperate more fruit and vegetable. You can still eat lots of meat and be healthy but there are more calories I guess to burn especially if you are eating red meat. So either try to be more active and eat as much meat as you like or cut it back slightly...
Cardio excersizes will be really good to make you healthy, things like running, arobics, swimming or whatever else you can find.
Good luck :)

Look around, learn some exercises and just DO IT. Don't be ashamed if you can't do the same routine without having to rest more than a few days or even a week. When I started back in high school, I could barely do 30 push ups every few days. Now, years later, I average 70 (in a row, no rest) with 107 being my personal best. Everything takes time and there is no "get in shape fast" or "quick scheme" worth pursuing.
Don't get intimidated or discouraged.

Really a healthy lifestyle consists of:
1-Excersising
2-Eating right.
When exersising you need to focus mostly on resistance and endurance. Running, high rep workouts and working up a good sweat.
Eating right connsists of eating foods that are healthy and not foods that are greasy and have high calories.
Everything else will fall in place.I've lost 115 lbs and I can tell you, it was rough. In the beginning I had to make so many choices that were difficult to adapt to. It started with diet. I worked exercise in later. And I didn't make short term diet choices but lifetime choices with nutrition. Permanent changes.
You need to listen to guys who know what they are talking about.
Surf youtube for fitness gurus and just soak in their knowledge. A lot of it will rub off on you. Knowledge is the biggest key in getting into fitness, because there are wrong ways to go about it.pretty much everything SR1916 has said is right on the money. just remember that consistency and patience is key. You most likely won't reach your fitness goals by the end of the week or even in a month but stay motivated and set goals, take it day by day and eventually you will get to where you wanna be.
try watching YouTube vids on working out and eating healthy. Like this guy link helps
