Is it true that sit ups and crunches are worse for belly fat?

Anonymous
I don't do sit ups or crunches because I know you can't spot reduce, so I just do cardio and lift weights. I recently just lost 30 pounds, and I want to lose more, even though I've been advised against it because I'll be underweight. I was 140 and I am 5'4, and now I am 110. The problem is I am look tiny everywhere except my stomach. I still work-out even though I don't need to lose weight, but I need to lose stomach fat. And it's not a little fat, it's a lot. I can fit into small clothes because I have a tiny body frame, but they look like sh*t on me because of my stomach. I bought a dress that should look amazing on me because it fits everywhere but the stomach. It's like I look pregnant.

So someone advised me to do crunches and sit ups, but I haven't at all (I probably haven't done sit ups or crunches in a year. I didn't use them as my work-out when I lost my thirty pounds) because I heard that will push out stomach fat even more. I'm just wondering how true this is, or if it will be pointless to do them, because you can't spot reduce, so I'll just keep looking even thinner everywhere but my stomach. My arms look so bony now, it's kind of gross. I've been trying sucking in my gut while I walk because someone said that works too.
