Would you really want to date a guy like that? Knowing that not too long ago you would have been the one he'd comment about and be rude to? No offense but it sounds like you still have that fat girl self esteem with your last sentence when you said "my body is not up to a standard I think he would accept and if I don't think he will like me" You should have more confidence, like who died and made him king judger of the world? I'm proud of you for taking care of your fitness but I'm not a fan of people who are nasty to people because of their bodies, because usually people like that tend to be nasty in general. But if I were you I'd just keep it real and say "yeah I used to be one of those gross fatties" and see what he says

That would make me pretty uncomfortable to be honest, and I would eventually feel the need to correct him.. or at the very least tell him that those comments are really mean and that I don't like hearing them. But knowing ME I would say, "what if I told you that I used to be one of them..?" and see how he reacted. If in fact he doesn't like you for who you used to be, then that's his loss. You're beautiful both then and now, and he should appreciate what you are, and what you were because your past is what makes you today. I know you really like him now, but its better to get it out of the way earlier rather than later.
He will gain respect! I would not in a million years make fun of you for being fat in past if you are not now. It's impressive! You mast have done some serious work on yourself. Congratulations!

Honestly, he'll probably have a great deal of respect for you for taking care of yourself. Most guys' complaints about fat people is that they let themselves get that far and they don't do anything about it. Congratulations for getting healthy, by the way!
What a dickhead! You should have more respect for yourself than to date someone like that! Just think, if he had met you before you lost the weight he might have made fun of you!
I think if anything it would make him appreciate you more knowing you made the change and got healthy.
