I keep thinking "Oh, ONE cup of ice-cream won't hurt..." and it wouldn't, except when I am finished, suddenly it turns to "ONE chocolate bar won't do me in," "ONE cookie... OK, two... five. I'll just burn them off," (which never happens, since low motivation, cramps, bloating, and achy/weak muscles convince me otherwise.) "Spinach and Mozzarella pretzel? Yes, please!" "Crackers and hummus! Yup!" "A thick slice of cake? Sure!" "Pudding, please be available!" "What's a few slices of bread smothered in butter?" "I should really go to the theater... one bag of candy is fine," (a bag that equals three or more servings, generally.) "Where is that recipe for butter oatmeal, chocolate-chip cookies?" "Ice-cream and hot fudge... just a TAD BIT more," "The mountain of holiday sweets in my cabinet? I'm so glad I don't have to share!" "JUST. ONE. MORE."
My period makes me feel and look disgusting (inside and out.) Do you have any tips to keep eating sane? Medications aren't an option.
