What motivates you to excercise?
Whats your motivation?
1. from taking a class like yoga or dance class and seeing how great I look and feel after and wanting to keep doing it,
2. I work at a gym so when I see real women who come daily and are not there to keep tabs on their boyfriend, find single guys, or just look cute and are getting a good work out with real where they level up to some men there it inspires me to be more active
3. I dated a guy who is a health nut and that really motivated me to take better care of my body since I'm getting older and eventually the stress and bad things I eat will catch up to me.
I'm the same way. I need to lose a little weight and I really care about my looks but I guess that's not enough to motivate me so I need other creative ways like that to help get me motivated but so far the answers for this question isn't really helping me either since everyone's saying their motivation is to look good because I'm like you, I always give up if my only motivation is to look good for some reason. I wish I could find a creative way to motivate me like you haha
My motivation is to be stronger, faster and more fit then the next guy. I have this scenterio in my head that like if all the men in the world turned on each other and it was a fight to the death and the last man standing wins, and I try to train thinking how I would have the advantage lol its silly because I know there's always someone more fit, but it just makes me work harder.
I enjoy it. There are so many different sports and activities to choose from, that there's really no reason to be doing a form of exercise that you don't love - which is why you'll never catch me just out running or in the gym (I work as a kayaking / coasteering / rock climbing instructor, and play other sports as well, so I'm plenty fit).

Seeing Victorias Secret models! ha ha I see them and I can't help but make a comparison with my own body. It's the kind of body I aspire to and imitate- slim, but still healthy and curvy. So, the way I look is your answer. I like the way clothes look on my body when I'm in shape, and everything just looks better
i was highly inspired by goku when he used to train in 100 times gravity and how he achieved the unachievable...then coming back to this realistic worl I'm inspired by sylvester stallone and arnold schwarzenegger including salman khan(no.1 actor of our country and gr8 body)
Haha. I'm the same slightly. I look at these shows or movies and say to myself that's how I want to be / look when sh*t goes down (example Michelle Rodriguez or Alice from resident evil, or even like Sarah Connor from terminator). Now I know if or when I do workout, it has to be with someone who is physically more fit than me which are usually guys. Goin off topic, but I loveee the Walking Dead. Can't wait for the new season =^_^=
1) Wanting to look good
2) Wanting to get a girl/get better at sex (better cardio=better sex)
3) Wanting to stay healthy
Those 3 change places all the time depending on my self esteem and loneliness levels haha
Also, I'm doing INSANITY, which has a structured schedule to follow, so that in itself motivates me. Its like a job I have to do every day, so I do it. Plus I am a part of a forum on their website and we all started about the same time and are keeping each other accountable
My original motivation was to look better, thus giving me better chances with girls. Then I was peer-pressured into running cross-country. Now I run to improve myself and my team. Without a team, however, I would have no motivation.
Excercise itself!
Beating my own record, proving to myself that my mind is 12 times stronger than my body, progressing, feeling awesome after a workout. All of these things motivate me.
i know this sounds really shallow, but my willpower to exercise is "boosted" when there's a cute guy in one of my classes at school that I may "potentially" get some interaction with, or if he's showing me indirect signs...
I have to say that impressing the opp. gender is my main motivator to exercise...i know that's not a really great answer.
Intense self-loathing; I want to be able to look in a mirror and not be repulsed by what I see staring back at me. I live by the credo 'the beating will continue until morale improves' (sic).
Nothing. I excercise because I want to. I feel better after excercising, and it's for my own health. I guess seeing people at gym working their butt off at gym motivates me to excercise longer.
I never get physically tired ( outside the gym ) and feel better about the way I look. Now, if I don't get ride of my extra energy at the gym, I just don't feel good..
What motivates me is watching Drop Dead Diva. It helps because Stacey is always exercising like on a treadmill and she runs every morning and she's in good shape
To keep running faster and keep getting stronger. Because I don't want to feel the shame I felt last winter when I was out of breath after one or two laps jogging around a track.
I get my motivation from wanting to look better and be healthy, sadly I will bust my butt then end up giving up. I really hate working out alone and think I would be much more motivated if I had someone else working with me. Good luck in the Apocalips :)
nothing. I do it because I want to. This might sound weird but I derive great pleasure from sweating after I exercise.
The way women look at me, the comments they make..and the fact I can keepup with them running or playing sports.
I want to keep this body!

I was never very athletic as a kid due to medical problems. I exercise to be strong. Of course I want to be attractive, but strength is my priority.
My girlfriend. She's a sexy woman.
