You can try to get a workout buddy that will keep you accountable and you do the same for him/her. Also you just have to get in the routine and set a schedule to get you through the first weeks of soreness. by the way. there's no reason to be worried about being small, everybody starts somewhere. Even that guy dead-lifting 1,000 was weaker at some point.
