I don't eat any sweets , I eat mostly vegetables and I drink a lot of water .. I don't eat more than 500 calories per day.
But my weight didn't change even a little since this 5 days..
Why don't I lose weight if I don't eat?
There could be a ton of things that affect it.
I ate very little, and biked constantly. I lost probably about 6 pounds in two weeks. Not the healthiest choice, though I wasn't starving myself. Then I ate normally (not a lot, and not a lot of junk food), still biked three times a day, and gained 3 pounds in 2 days. I was way ahead of my weekly weight loss goal, then way behind, now I'm about even.
Some veggies react differently with the body.
It could be a lot of things that affect a scale, especially for women. Are you weighing yourself in clothes? Are some outfits (or even shoes) a bit heavier? Are you weighing yourself several times a day, or after a meal, or at different times per day? Did you drink a lot of water (Sometimes water makes people seem heavier when it's just water weight)? Did you gain some muscle in there? Most scales don't differentiate between fat, muscle, water weight, etc. Some girls claim that their periods make them heavier on the scale (bloating, etc).
The more important thing is to be healthier without destroying/hurting yourself. Being a little hungry, if you weigh a lot more, is more understandable. STARVING yourself is not. Eating more veggies is usually a good thing; choosing to each veggies over a burger, usually a good thing. Suddenly going completely vegan makes a lot of people sick incredibly fast. Weening yourself off the red meat and everything, at a good pace is much healthier than suddenly going 100% vegan in a day, and eating nothing but raw from that point on.
If you're trying to do 6 pounds a week, then it's not healthy. And you'll get discouraged faster. If you say, Ok, I'm going to work out, and aim for 1-2 pounds a week, that's a lot more doable, and you probably won't be as discouraged; but if you're starving yourself and limiting yourself to 500 calories a day, that may not be healthy. Generally, yes, you cut 500 calories per day to figure on a pound (on average) per week, but generally, you don't want to cut any more than 1000 calories per day, though this also depends on a lot of factors.
Being hungry is not always a guarantee that you're being healthier.
Good luck, be healthy, and I'm sure that things will get better. Just don't obsess over it weekly. If you're overweight, and you're slowly getting there, and you feel better, then that's a great goal. Trying to lose 30 pounds in a month (unless you're dangerously obese) is not.
The first few days your body will go into crisis mode because you're not eating enough and shut down non essential functions. You will probably also feel cold more easily.
The weight is not going down because you're not using as many calories as you used to and your body is storing up water. You probably feel a bit bloated as well.
Try a 3 km brisk walk every afternoon, and keep the calories at the same level and you'll soon see mass disappear.
Because it slows your metabolism. Your body needs energy to use for everyday activities. If you eliminate your source of energy, then you are forcing it to use an alternative source of energy (usually your muscle) and also forcing your metabolism to slow down. This can really damage your body, but I'm sure you know that so I'm not going to give you the whole lecture.
If you want to lose weight by a diet, the best thing to do is to eat many meals throughout the day but in very low portions (stay away from simple carbs and eat more protein.) So that way, you are feeding your body the appropriate amount of energy while keeping your metabolism at a steady rate and you're never hungry.
Hope this helps.
You metabolism slows down when you don't eat because your body gets scared it's going to starve and turns everything into fat.
This is horrible for you.
If you eat a lot of healthy foods, you will be a healthy weight. Just eat normally and go on a few walks and you'll be fine.
Starving yourself will only make you very sick.

The recommended calory intake is 2000 a day. What you're doing is extremely unhealthy.
If you want to lose weight eat a healthy diet and exercise regularly. What you may find is your weight may stay the same but you'll look slimmer, this is because your muscles are becoming toned (and muscle weighs x2 that of fat apparently).
Please just be healthy, you could reaaly cause a lot of long term damage to your body.
Thats because your body is in starvation mode. You should never eat less than 1200 calories if you are trying to lose weight. A healthy diet and exercise is the way to go. But keep up on eating mostly vegetables (and fruits) and drinking lots of water.
Your eating habits are extremely unhealthy and will completely screw up your metabolism in the long run. I strongly urge you to adopt healtier eating habits.
cause your not exercising. in order to lose wait you have to burn calories. If you work out you'll burn more calories. But, if you do workout you'll have to start eating more than you have in order to have energy
loosing weight through starving is gonna mess up your health, exersicing while maintaing a low carb diet will reduce your weight in healthy way, being fit will help you with weight problem
Supposed to eat more meals but smaller proportions, not starve yourself. Your metabolism slows down when you don't eat.
You need to exercise?
sport is the key. exercise!
