How long will it take for him to contact me?

My boyfriend broke up with me spur of the moment (what I think) because we were fighting a lot. We've been together for one year and 3 months. The only contact I've had with him is getting my stuff out of the apartment, but how long will it take him to ask me how I'm doing? or something like that?

The truth is that unless an ex still wants to be with you, he won't really go out of his way to keep in touch with you. Don't take it personally. It's just not a good idea for exes to stay in contact as long as one person still has feelings for the other that aren't reciprocated. It can only end badly.

I am in a similar situation. The only advice I have had is to not contact him and he will soon wonder what you are doing and contact you.
