Girls, what's your opinion on guys who ride horses?

I'm considering getting into the sport and I've noticed it's dominated by women. I don't think there are more than two guys in the club I want to join out of fifty so I'm curious as to what girls think of guys who ride horses.

And if guys want to participate, what are some sports dominated by men that women should check out?

Horse women that are really into it love their horses more than they'll ever love you. They may tend to think of their interactions with you as a horse, trying to train you. That said, some horse chicks are hot, and having a common interest is a great way to get to know people. If most of the folks there are women... :-)

If a guy rode a horse and was GOOD at it, that'd be great as I also ride horses. We could trail ride together. If you go on the competitive level there will probably be more females though. However if you were just to ride for the sake of riding, nothing wrong with that. Horses are just as much a man's animal as a woman's.

This is why I want to take lessons. I think that would be a lot more fun than going out to the movies, but I'm a little unconventional.

You never know though. Some girls may think that it's their sport and wouldn't want a guy intruding. That's why I was curious.

Nah. Horseback riding is fantastic for anyone. If you were to compete they'd probably single you out as the one to beat lol but just riding is great. You have no idea how much I wish my boyfriend could ride horses. I have two of them but we can't do anything with them because he refuses to learn lol.

Nothing typically attractive about a guy riding horses, but talent is always a good thing. If you want to learn how to ride then that's a good thing ,do what you like.

sexy. there's something masculine about horseback riding and controlling the horse, while being gentle to the horse at the same time. =)
