How well do you age?

I've been told I look like I'm in my early 20s since I was 12-13. I'm now in my early 20s and people say I look like I'm in my mid 20s. I feel like I'm aging horribly but the thing is I have no wrinkles and my skin has gotten better. How well do you age and why do you think you age like this? Like genetics or you take care/ don't take care of your skin.

I think in your case it is a compliment of how mature you look. At the age you are talking "mid 20's" this is in no way considered old. I'm not sure what age it will really be considered a negative things to be guessed at an older age than you really are..? But one thing for sure, you are not at that point!

I do like being guessed younger at my age, being I'm 50 now. I have been guessed to be 10-15 years younger and don't use any hair color to hide the touch of grey.

It's going good. Over the year's I've become quite the master at aging. I think I deserve some sort of honorary title or something or at least a certificate or ribbon. Maybe a shiny trophy or something. =P

I feel like I age pretty well. I consistently get told I look 2 years younger than my actual age. Which at 18 that's not always a good thing :p

I think my genetics are about average. I don't really wear face makeup besides to cover up spots every once in awhile. I also wear sunscreen whenever I'm going to be outside for awhile. I'm really fair so I try to protect myself from burning. I also don't drink which can take a huge toll on a persons aging.

Black don't crack and I age amazing. I'm almost 22 and I can barely get into a casino even with ID proof people don't believe me and question me. Most think 17-18 years old. I look older in pics and younger in person. Doesnt help that my boyfriend is 42 lol. For me its genetics. I do nothing for the prevention of aging.

I'd say its 80% genetics, 20% proactive care such as a healthy lifestyle and sunscreen. People in my family look younger than their age bcause they just don't get wrinkles. All the older women have been tanning outside for decades and thy don't get a single line until their late 40s. That's why I think it's bogus when people say sunscreen is the most important. Some people just have the genes to stay young looking and others don't

When I was 14, people thought I was college age. Now I'm 29 and I am frequently the only person at a table of my peers to get carded for alcohol. I don't think I look like a teenager, but people have said I look about 23.

Wear sunscreen, avoid sugar, limit alcohol intake, stay physically fit/trim. You can't prevent all effects of aging, but staying thin and avoiding wrinkles and sun spots goes a long way. So does a happy attitude!

Hahaha those are all things I've done and more and that is how my skin has improved so dramatically! Yet still, despite lack of wrinkles, people always guess I'm much older. lol Thanks for the info! :)

Genetics really do a lot when it comes to aging.

Though you really don't need to bother about your age. Just make yourself looks beautiful and your body well taken care of.

Most people just assume that I am 15... But I have looked like this since I was 11 so I guess I'm at a stand still for now lol

People always say I look younger then I am so I guess I age well. I'm 24 people say I can pass for 18 or so. I guess I have a young face.
