Eye contact question

How much does eye contact influence your relations with other people? This can be anything from dates, relationships, family and friends.

I think that some people are quite comfortable looking at people when they are talking to them others find it very intimidating.

I try to look at the person when I am speaking with them however it is not always necessary, as a mother I am quite capable of telling my kids to do things or talk to them without looking at them.

Really depends on the situation and the relationship you have with them. People often think if someone is looking at you when they are speaking it implies you are listening, it does not.

It's good to have an equal balance of eye contact. Not too much, not too little. A lot of people tell me that my eyes speak for themselves. However I'm feeling or whatever I'm thinking, people just seem to know which is amazing for me, because my friend told me if I don't like someone then I don't even have to say it. my eyes will just say f*** you. lol But I have to be careful because, I don't want to accidentally lead guys on. So, my eyes really influence the way others perceive me and the way I perceive others.
