It may sound really weird, but I believe in auras so I can kind of trick myself into feeling better.
Let me explain haha, I once saw this thing on the discovery channel about a man who disrupted his aura so he wouldn't feel pain as he put a screwdriver through his cheek.
So whenever I have a headache, I picture my aura as like a cloud around my body, and right at the epicenter of the ache I visualize a pinprick opening up at that part of my aura and getting bigger until the area of my head that hurts is no longer covered by my aura.
I know its probably not really happening, but I also believe in the placebo effect, and it works 100% of the time for me, and for other pains too. But I suppose it might not work for people who don't BELIEVE it will work lol

I get headaches at least 3 times a week. I take excedrin extra strength in a pinch, but if I have the time I will have some ice(I become nauseated when I have a headache and can't drink water) and lie down for a while with a cold washcloth over my eyes. Sometimes I throw up when it gets really bad and can't keep meds down, so I take a cold shower and then make the time to sleep for at least fifteen minutes with the washcloth. If I can't sleep and I'm becoming very nauseated, I lie in the dark with something cold over my eyes.
I beat my thumb with a hammer. I always feel great when I stop.

I drink tea. I just had an awful headache from crying all night. I made myself a big pot of tea, and my headache has subsided, and my tears have finally starting to stop. Good pot of freshly brewed tea does it for me.
This may sound way too simple, but I will get headaches when I don't drink enough water so I always try that first. The next best thing for me is really just sleep if your schedule allows to do that.
Try to go to sleep, if that doesn't work, try some home remedy stuff & lastly I would take some painkillers, depending on how bad it would be.
I get them quite a bit. SEX! Seriously, the chemicals released by a good orgasm will help you ditch the headache fast.
get some painkiller...get into your dark bedroom and have some sleep!
