i struggled with headaches for 9 years, had one almost daily and had one for 5 months straight once and had to be home schooled. a lot of the time I seemed to come at random. I got them when I went outside and it was cold, or if it was windy, or if I swam in cold water. I didn't understand though how I could randomly have them all day long and no doctor or specialist I went to could figure it out and no pain killers or prescribed medication could offer any relief.
I eventually went to a health doctor for a complete other reason and he found out I have a major sugar intolerance and was borderline diabetic. a few months later with a new diet I noticed my headaches were so rare and when they did occur it was because I had more sugar that day. can't believe I went 9 years and the solution was so simple.
