Boyfriend is going to a girl's birthday party, and isn't taking me..?

My boyfriend says he isn't sure if he is actually going... but supposedly he is going to another girl's birthday party with some of his friends..

I am not exactly okay with this, especially when he didn't even ask me if I wanted to go with him or anything. The girl told him to invite me...

I kinda feel like he doesn't even want me to go with him... We've been together for a year 1/2, (He's 17 and I am 19).

Should I be okay with this? Or not?

He said I have nothing to worry about and isn't making it a for sure plan to go...

but it kinda upsets me..

unless this girl is an ex, or has feelings for him, or you've got any proper reason not to trust him, you're being a way too big a deal out of this. by making him feel guilty about seeing his friends you'll be pushing him away. get a grip - you you can't trust him you shouldn't be dating him

Just ask him. Stop leaving it up for guessing and just communicate with the guy. For all he knows, you don't have a problem at all and you're not sitting there torturing yourself. Just talk to him, very casually.

You have two choices:

a. Trust the guy and let him go and have fun.

b. Not trust him and ask him to tag along.

Those are your only two options. There is NO secret option C.

Everything seems fine to me. It's a birthday party - not a bachelor party. I agree that he probably should have invited you to be polite but it wasn't 100% necessary.

I wouldn't make a big deal out of it, but I would definitely ask him something like "hey, want me to go with you?" and see what he answers.

Well, but that's exactly the point. You're wondering why he didn't invite you yet, and you're speculating with him not wanting you there. Maybe he assumed you'd go with him without the need of the invitation, or maybe he does not want you there so what better way to find out than to ask?
