Why do so many Asian girls dye their hair brown?

I'm not hating but It honestly looks so unnatural because some of them have jet black hair so their roots are jet black and their hair is an auburn or brown color. I mean if you want to dye it dye it a dark brown or something? I see so many Asian girls with this hair color. Why do they like it so much? It looks really unnattural.

Well, Asian people generally have black hair. They see the variety of hair colours in the world and think "I would like to have a different hair colour too. It would certainly set me apart from my primarily black-haired society". Then it's a choice of which colour. If you want to see unnatural, look at very dark people with blonde hair (Yes, I realise it's possible).

Your question is more so "Why don't they spend more money managing their roots?" than the actual colour of their hair.

I think black hair looks so sick, especially if they style it in a way no one has it. I kinda wish I had black Asian spiky hair lol.

Yeah I know, they look far better with black hair. I think they do it to stand out because who are we kidding? The vast majority of East Asian people look the same.

I agree. It looks washed out on some. I guess having black is boring to them. Its just a fashion trend and they love what white people have for diff. Hair colours.

Fashion trends. Since all of them have black hair they want to try something different. I prefer their natural color though.
