I'm really, really, weak. I will carry what I can, for as long as I can- but if I start to drop it, I will ask for help from anybody- not just a man. I don't see what the problem here is though. If a woman is incapable of lifting things on her own, it is sensible for her to ask for help. If she can lift it but is being lazy - then she's just wrapping the man around her finger. The whole problem then is that she is manipulative, not that she cannot carry a TV by herself.
When I used to work at a restaurant, I did a lot of manual labor because I closed the building. I became very strong & could lift a lot. I then became a manager of the restaurant, & lost my strength. I then learned ways to reach & lift things I normally couldn't. I basically used science to help me. I've heard men complain about how women ask them for help to carry things, so I usually avoid asking them for help. Unless he's nice & offers, I'm not going over to him.
I pick up my own shit, never have I needed any help.
I lift weights regularly, so I'm stronger than the typical girl. If there's stuff to be carried, I'll either carry it or carry whatever is heaviest myself. That's not oppressive or offensive, it's just sensible and common courtesy. If she really wants to get stuff herself, I'll let her, but the normal thing to do would be to help.
I enjoy carrying stuff for girls - it make me feel useful. Of course if she goes on and on how she is "independent" and 'doesn't need a fucking man" i drop the weight in her arms and walk away.

It depends on the guy I am with. If its my fiance ya I let him carry most thing, makes him feel good. If I am with my dad who has a bad back I tend to try and carry heavy things for him.
I know what my limitations are and some stuff is just too heavy to carry..
I wouldn't say I prefer to carry it on my own, but I can. The only time I really needed help was getting two suitcases up and down the stairs and kings cross. But thankfully a lot of people offered
We don't actually ask it's usually a gentleman that just insists. I've never just asked.
I never let guys help me, I always do everything by myself.

I could definitely manage to carry it on my own but if someone else can carry it, why not let them? Gives me less work! I honestly don't give 2 shts if he thinks i'm weak.

Guys are bigger stronger, so it's natural that they carry the heavy stuff. I would do it myself if possible, but it isn't always.
