Well, Canada is more peaceful than many places in the world, but certainly negative things happen here. Even things that get national attention, for example, in October there was a shooting at Parliament Hill (it was just one guy, but they really played up the "terrorist" angle because apparently he was a recent convert to Islam).
The last riot that I can recall was in Vancouver in 2011 over a hockey game... heh.
Certainly we have natural disasters and diseases.

It's not always peaceful here. We definitely have major issues going on every day, but unless the event somehow relates to world disasters, terrorism, racism, national tragedies or the US, it's not widely reported on. But yes, we're very happy being in Canada. You'd be LUCKY to live here! 🍁 ✌️

we all shouldn't livE there, it'll make Canada a bad place. over the summer you will hear about Canada if you like sports. the soccer women's World Cup will be held there.

We tend to be a quiet country, though we've honestly been less quiet lately. It's one of the best countries on the planet to live in in terms of standard of living, and i wouldn't want to live anywhere else for many reasons
