When a guy texts you more than he calls your or barely calls at all, is he showing lack of interest?

If I have to be the one to call a guy and he pefers to text me, isn't that a little suspicious? I mean, why can't he just pick up the phone? Its weird because I never had a guy do this before.

Ugh, this is not good. Guys are so silly sometimes. You need to always respect yourself and demand to be treated the way you should be. Don't be afraid to let him know that you will no longer respond to his texts, tell him you find it a little dull. If he wants to get in touch with you, he will call.and if he doesn't he won't (which will hurt, but it's better to get rid of this disrespect then allow it and feel like crap everyday).

I was actually with a man like this (he's all big business and has very little time other than to text). But, I told him, I don't care and stopped responding.guess what? He calls me everyday. If he wants to make plans with me, he picks up the phone. He'll text me for other things, sweet things (I get a text a couple of mornings a week that just says Good Morning Sunshine).

No problem I hope it works out for you. I know how annoying this can be. Remember that if he doesn't call you it just means he's dumb and immature (and Thank God you'll be getting rid of him, right?). Be strong, I think you're going to do well.

I have been with my boyfriend for six months and we have talked on the phone maybe 10 times if that. I am the same way though, I would rather text because we can do it anytime any place.

lol. But the actual reason is most probably shyness. just so that you know a lot of guys gets a little tense while talking on the phone with a girl because you can't see her face and reaction. It's not at all uncommon as you think. It's not disrespect. Just check online and you would see how much guys have problem talking on the phone, especially because you can't see her body language. But if he is your boyfriend and you guys know each other for a long time and totally casual with each other then I think you can tell him that you like calls better than texts. Even in this case it's not disrespect it's just mis-callibrating your expectations by your boyfriend. So don't get upset, he isn't offending you. He is either shy or doesn't know that you like to hear his voice. hahaha. Let him know and I am sure he would do it.

he obviously wants to talk to you...either he's slightly shy aobut talkin' on the phone or just feels more comfortable texting...i like texting better. I text way more as well. even with new girls that I'm CRAZY about. it doesn't mean anything bad
