My dad sure did, lol. Scared the sh*t out of him. I remember hugging the breaks to hard and also drifting to the side too much. He would constantly tell me 'don't do that!"
Ahh memories haha.
What about you?
No, not at all. My dad taught me, and my oldest sister. They'd both take me on back roads & let me drive way before I was of age. Of course, we'd drive tractors when we were 12 & 13, so we already knew how to drive.
I don't think either one ever raised their voice to me. When our son learned to drive, I did not teach him, I turned that over to his dad. I knew I couldn't do that! I fear riding in cars with others, let alone a newbie. Now I wish I had because he said his father just screamed at him. I may have had a break down, but I wouldn't have screamed.
Oh yes. The first time I ever drove on a major street, my mom immediately started flipping out over every little thing. Sometimes, not even things I was doing wrong, just stuff she thought I might possibly do wrong. She got me so stressed out about driving that after that I refused to even try again for three full months.
Once I started driving again though, I learned pretty quick and still got my license on the first try.
Did your dad/mom yell at you when they were teaching you how to drive? Nope
At whatever age it was when you were learning how to drive did your mom or dad or whoever was teaching you yell at you a lot in the car? Nope
What about you? My parents never yelled at me so...yeah.
But you do drive though? Yes
Who taught you? I did. Self-taught.
i was taught by my driving instructor, my dad did let me drive when I was 13 , but my instructor told me he taught me wrong and to forget what he showed me. He was right and I passed my driver exam with flying colors after only 8 tries.
What did I learn from this, never teach your children to drive at such a young age.
'Watch out for that treee!" , "Omg, old people!"
Yeah, she kept on telling me to look out for things I had already noticed but there was a few times where she told me things I didn't see or know.

No, my parents didn't teach me to drive. I went to a driving school. My mom has control issues when it comes to driving. She trusts very few people with driving and she is always paranoid about "her babies" getting hurt, so she knew she had to send my sister and I to a driving school. =P
There were a couple times I remember my mom raising her voice and sounding panicky, but overall it was a calm experience. I think she was the most worried when I got on the highway lol. My dad took me driving a couple times, and he always kept his cool, but most of the 50 hours I had to complete were done with my mom. I was a few months older than 16 when I got my permit, so I had to go through the 6 months of driving with an adult and driving school before I could get my license.
Yes my bro and my dad.I just got a driving license when I was 18 so they wanted to test me on the road to see if I'm doing fine. Its terrible..I hate it but I think I could understand why they did that because when I teach my friend to drive I do the same thing=D
Its not cool to keep telling someone the same thing and yet they do it wrongly=D
Not really...She was chill about me learning, but I wasn't a bad student. lol I remember when she was teaching me to drive a manual and I stalled at a green light. I was the first car at the line. So all the other cars started blowing at me. I started freaking out, but she was saying it was OK and that they can wait. :p
both of them did hahaha
they would get so worried all the time!
and I learned to drive at 13ish, I think.
it was for emergency purposes lol. I couldn't drive it anywhere until I was 16... which was illegal since I couldn't get a license.
Yes, f***. I was 16 and looking back now, he was just being an scared old man. I have had my license almost two years and I have a clean record and am just fine. Then again, my dad will yell at me for anything, even things that haven't happened yet.
Oh yeah on one occasion I was doing really well and he screamed loudly "DON'T LET ANYTHING DISTRACT YOU WHILE DRIVING" and continued to do that a few times. first time made me jump but he was sitting right next to me when he did it.
well my mom yells all the time but I ignore her and got my license :D
Yes lol...sometimes I have to tell her..."mama sit back and relax. I got this!"
my mom did--a lot. she gets quite nervous whenever I'm behind the wheel.
Nope.
well they freaked out when I tried at 4 years old... Then I learn a little in my older friends car when he was drunker... =P I was always observant so I knew how things worked. I did pretty well when I was learning. Made a few mistakes here and there but nothing to bad.
Nope! : )lol
I did not screwed up! XP I was just slower than a turtle the whole time! hahahaha
