Girls thoughts on switching from boxers briefs??

Question

I read another thread on here today that inspired me to make this one.

I'm thinking about making the switch from boxers to briefs. Quick background. I am a 29 year old male. 6'2", 185 lbs, athletic body type (after spending the last 6 months at the gym).

I've been wearing boxers exclusively ever since middle school and have never thought about changing until recently. I hate how boxers bunch up and it gets even worse during the summer months.

I am a bit hesistant because I read on here that girls don't like briefs and are turned off by boxers. FWIW I'm not thinking tighty whitey, but something my flattering with colors. Here are a couple pairs I'm debating:

What do you ladies think? Am I making a mistake? Should I just go for it? Are they are turnoff?

I am wanting to switch back to wearing briefs too. I know my girlfriend prefers boxer briefs on me, as when she saw a pair of my briefs (about 2 years ago), she referred to them as knickers (and kind of laughed at the same time). I much prefer briefs and I know for a fact most guys do as well and also know that we don't wear them for fear of being negatively judged. Yet we don't judge women's undies. Most of the ladies I've been with have some pair's of (so called) granny pants... and why not if they feel good. In my opinion if the body is ok... so are the undies, for both men and women. I'm thinking of wearing briefs no matter what. She can like it or find someone else!!! Boxers and boxer briefs really DON'T feel good to wear. If you are a male and find yourself thinking like this then I hope you please yourself, like I will be doing. Ladies... judge not as you be judged yourself. Boxers or briefs... its down to those wearing them.

If you're buying them because they're more comfortable, then who the f*ck cares what anyone else thinks?

Look, they're going to be under your clothes, and if you meet someone and wind up hooking up, by the time the underwear's coming off neither one of you is going to care about what it looks like.

My boyfriend wears briefs almost all the time. I've only seen him once with boxers and tbh, after seeing him with briefs, I realized that I actually like those better on him. Obviously if you're fat they won't look as good on you but I don't think you are, so you should be good. My boyfriend is 6"1' and really lean, probably 150 pounds, so they don't suit him badly. And I think they look better under jeans as opposed to bulky boxers that bunch up. I'd say if you're in for comfort and support, then go for it. The only thing though is that I'd really stay away from flashy colors if I were you. Stick to black and grey, maybe white (although I like those the least), but no pastel colors or else I'll find that it looks gay as hell.

Don't let a girl make her opinion on you based on your underwear, lol. Just wear what's more comfortable for you. If you wanna wear them, wear them! I don't care about underwear with guys, I actually quite like the second link, it's a nice pair.

I personally hate briefs. I think it just looks kinda ridiculous. Boxers are adorable, they look so great, I love them :P But ultimately, I'm not the one that's wearing them so it doesn't really matter what I think of his underwear. It's worn to be comfortable, not to entice me :P

If girls really hate briefs (which, against what you think, may not be the case), you can still get away by wearing briefs in regular days and switching to boxers when you know you're getting some action that day.

boxers are a safe bet, then are manly, and that automatically is good. Briefs are okay, more so on fit. If your not that fit I'd go the boxer/brief mix as I don't mind them on men that are larger and they aren't super tight. Boxers or boxer-briefs does it for me really, as long as they are dark manly colors. I don't want to see my guy walking around in pink, pastel colored underwear. that's weird.

I have recently switched back to wearing briefs too. Soooo much better! Still wear boxer briefs for some things, but briefs will always be in my underwear drawer from now on. My new girlfriend prefers them! Lucky me 😁. I spent year's thinking they were hated etc, but they're not!

Go for it, especially if you have a fit body. The only turn off I would have in terms of underwear for a guy would be thongs, or underwear that's dirty or holey.

I will say that I REALLY hate the green and that $15 for one underwear seems steep.

I'm pretty similar to you body-wise, a bit taller and about 190-200, and personally speaking I'd go for trunks instead.

I have always hated boxers, might as well just go commando in my opinion. I'm a fan of minimal underwear. Supports the boys downstairs and that's all I need.
