Does he like me and is embarrassed I caught him looking or is it nothing?

I have a crush on a guy and we have been exchanging glances and stares for about two months and then the other day when I was doing something about thirty feet from him, he was talking to another person and I looked up and caught him staring directly at my face. When our eyes locked he looked surprised and immediately looked away. Ever since then it seems he has been deliberately not looking at me to the point where he even turned his back to me (which he never does). However, today when he was leaving I caught him taking one final glance at me from the corner of his eye.

Does he like me and is embarrassed I caught him looking or is it nothing? What could this mean? Any advice would help please!

I had a guy who only stared at me for about two years. He never made a move either. When I would try to speak to him he would mutter his words in very short sentences. He ended up moving a way. He now has a girlfriend who made all the moves in making the relationship a reality. So if you like the guy go up to him say something on a regular basis. So he can get to know you a little better on his terms. Then take it from there by going out for lunch etc. Good luck.

I think this guy like you but is very shy or intimidated. He probably is very physically attracted to you.

he does like you but he's a really shy person I really don't think things will change between you unless you get him comfortable around you but that is if you like him that way

I have known him for years and this interest is something very new, at least for me. I try to small talk with him, but I get really short answers from him, but he is always hanging around me. I could ask a question and he would give me one word answers but hang around. Do I need to keep working to make him comfortable around me?

no if you actually talk and he is still that way then you can't be any more bothered by him. he will have to figure things out on his own and have guts to get things going for him. I hope he stops his now weired glances lol
