What does it mean when a guy doesn't say hi when we meet but only stares with a serious face?

We meet very often.he took me out for a movie with my younger sibling.Acts in gentlemanly way(opens the door).He never says 'hi'but only looks at me alot.indirectly asks me if I have a boyfriend through my close ones. He rarely talks but shows signals by liking my interests.if he likes me why doesn't he talk or at least say 'hi' when we meet.He always showsoff how smart in front of me and also talks about impressing other girls when I am near.what is this guy's aim?

He's not angry, he simply doesn't fully know who he is and what his purpose is in life, and therefore he lacks confidence in himself. He can't talk to you like a normal person because you are entangled in his mind with something that is holding him back from truly expressing himself. This thing holds him back from being the man that he wants to be, and it probably causes a lot of confusion at a subconscious level. If you are interested in him, you can help him by talking to him and very lightly flirting with him. When he does finally begins to talk to you more, you can continue to encourage him more by simply talking to him and appreciating his positive expressions.

I can't really talk because I have no idea what to say to him.He only gives hints never shows direct interest in things I like.He recently hit me lightly behind my ear in public.Is that a way guys say Hi to girls?

Lightly hitting a girl behind her ear, without any prior conversation, sounds quite immature. If you are interested in him, and you think he might be interested in you, then the two of you should have a conversation. It really truly doesn't even matter what the topic of conversation is. Maybe if that is so.Recently he just hit me lightly behind my ear when we were in public.I didn't see him passing by.i turned to look who did that and he just smiled.Is that a way of saying hi to girl?

u cud also be thinking to much, most guys hold the door for girls and make small talk about hobbies and interests.

But he never talks about his hobbies and interests neither do I tell him.But Facebook is a medium he knows about me through that.
