What!? Redheads are regarded as unattractive? I'm not sure if it's just me, but I find them unbelievably attractive! I'm not saying this to be nice ,or because I am drinking at the moment, but they're definitely my favorite hair color on any white girl; but black girl + ginger hair = no thanks hun...
Ginger girls are so cute and harder to find than blondes and brunettes. They can look unbelievable innocent, yet wild, powerful and sexy at the same time. I love redheads! <3
Gingerism: As you may have noticed I think redheads are awesome, but your right in saying there's a lot of unnecessary and unfair negativity around them for a number of foolish reasons.
- Irish and Scottish nationalities tend to have a higher redhead proportion than the English. Our uncivilised society branded redheads as inferior, as the English are obviously better than everyone else (sarcasm).
- Redheads have vibrant, colorful hair that is comparatively different, unique and a lot less common. This makes them stand out and gain attention, so some tend to become very jealous.
- "Gingers have no souls." F*** YOU SOUTH PARK. Television these days is flooded with horrid stupidity, which the brainless kids of today follow like a religion.
- The redhead gene is recessive, which is why people say that redheads are dying out. This could be seen as inferior as it's slowly becoming extinct, but once again, that is ridiculous.
Humans can be idiots whom tease others and put them into outrageous stereotypical categories. E.g. blondes as stupid and brunettes are boring. Ignore the idiocy and just be glad for what you have. I think redheads rock!

I don't think that it's true. Gingers or redheads are quite attractive an alluring. In all honesty I prefer redheads over blonds. I'm certain other guys find them attractive as well. All comes down to individual perception of what's attractive.
Hair color doesn't determine attractiveness. There are unattractive redheads, and I guess that's where the stereotype comes from. But you're really pretty, so you shouldn't have a problem.

They're not. Unless they are. Everyone wants to hook up with a hot redhead. So, if a redhead isn't considered attractive, it's because of some other reason, not their hair.
Its just a stupid stereo type and saying that was adopted by soceity, I think their features are rare and beautiful.

I think it is the freckles most people don't like. If a red head doesn't have a lot of freckles they seem to be viewed as more attractive. Most people don't seem to mind the pale skin and red hair.
Most of those people who label them as unattractive are just plain jealous.
I think they are more beautiful than the common blond and brunette ones.
Honest to god truth. Pale skin makes them look sickly and red hair doesn't help, but it isn't the guys that started this... it was other females.
