Personally I think it's a bit of jealousy, and therefore judgement. Maybe they don't believe in themselves so they find flaws about you that tell them there's something wrong with you, to put you down a peg or two in their minds - to feel like they're better in comparison.
What could also be the case is you are putting across a cocky attitude when you speak to them (online?) and because of this they go the other way. They may think that it degrades them to have a guy thinking that he can get them easily, and so they'll dig their heels in even more just to prove a point. Of course it's not the case that you think they're easy as much as you think it's easy for YOU to get any girls.
Many girls seem to want a man who will give them the confidence they don't have, and a man who believes that getting women is easy won't bring this to them. You should go for confident women, because they won't have that need for approval that they don't think they'll get from you.
Because when guys think they can get any girl, are they really trustworthy in a relationship? Would you trust a girl who thinks they could get any guy? It just shows a big ego. It's OK to think you can get any girl, but to show those thoughts really is a big turn off to most girls. It's great to have confidence, but personally when a guy has too much, it can really drive girls away. So, to answer the question yes, most do. But, there's nothing wrong with thinking it, just don't SHOW it. Hope this helps :)
I personally don't like that in a guy because it makes you look cocky...for example...when you first meet someone...u wanna get 2 know them for who they are...not how much ass. Or girls...they can get...ya know...it would make me think you'll chase anything with a p****...and your not a serious person or...have real goals...girls like to believe there's something more to a guy than just that...I for myself am a very confident person...and feel like I can have anyone I want but I don't broadcast it or rub it in anyones face...I want people to like me for me...and I don't just want any guy...even though I'm pretty sure I can actrract anyone from da opposite sex...but that's not what I want...
I don't like that because it's arrogant, and makes them look like players. Both traits are not attractive to me. It's alright to be confident, but cocky is a bit too much.
Besides, a guy that tells me "I can get any girl I want" will precisely achieve the opposite goal. It's like a challenge thrown my way, and I'm pretty stubborn :P I'm even worse when I dislike someone, so there's no chance someone claiming that would end of dating me.
You can think you can get any girl but I suggest refraining from saying it out loud ^^
it shows arrogance. We like confidence on a guy, but not to the point of arrogance. Thinking all girls would want to be with you shows arrogance and I'd think that guys like these would have the qualities of a jerk and treat girls as they please because if they lose one, they could always easily get another.

Like all the guy answers, would you like girls that can "Get any guy they want"?
You are also emitting an auras of arrogance, typically someone with no real value do this to over compensate for something that they don't have within. Ask yourself the big "why", why you do the things you do now, it can help build sincere confidence that women appreciates. A women will see one or the other and none of them is good.
Also, the intention shown is sending a negative message to the other person. By saying you can get any girl you want, you are devaluing the girls you meet. You are basically saying, "I don't really care what you have to offer, none of it has any real value to me. Sex is all I am aiming for."
Think about wanting a girl who goes around saying "I can get any guy I want! I don't need you!" It's the same thing the other way around. It's snotty, arrogant, and nonsensical and the person is never worth anyone's attention anyway.
Thinking you can get any girl is not only arrogant, it implies that every girl is just a cookie cutter version of every other girl and that all girls like the same thing. By saying that you could get any girl, you are removing every girl's individuality, which is not okay.

To your update: I know guys who go around openly saying they could get with any of them to a group of girls. They were just giggling and blushing. But then again, girls do like him... xD

To me there is actually a huge difference between being cocky and confident. Cocky being unattractive confident being extremely attractive. I feel the attitude of "thinking you can get any girl" is on the cocky side, which could be a huge turn off for a lot of women...including myself.
You need to get over yourself and start treating girls with respect...
I don't really find a problem with it, I will flirt back maybe but if you think you can get any girl I'll make sure you can't get me, but I'll tease you. you wouldn't be sort of guy I'd like as a boyfriend or want to get to know unless you made me feel special by focusing all your attention on me instead of other girls.
Well the question is why even ask the question? if you're a one girl kinda guy it doesn't matter whether you think you can get any girl you want surely? And you say you don't round telling people that, well you just have even if it's to strangers on the internet.
