Why do girls fix their hair after they pass me?

im a 16 year old guy and I'm not sure why it happens but when ever I pass and sometimes make eye contact with girls in the halls they would usually fix their hair as we pass each other. it happens allot. and I have no idea what its suppose to mean. if it even means anything.
