So my friend is a dime. She is extremely skinny and wears lots of makeup and pretty.
She has a boyfriend but they're trying to be secretive about it.
Anyways her boyfriend always looked at me and sends me vibes...
So then one day I didn't know they weren't "public" right?
K so he comes up and starts talking to me and then says we're best friends afterwards. He seemed like he was flirting. Ok so then i was like sooo your ________'s boyfriend huh and he said boyfriend? Why do you call it that? We don't like to call it that and I was like ok...
And today, Halloween i was dressed as a cat and had a skirt and crop top (wasnt slutty only showed an inch of my tummy when I reached up or something. ) and I got hit on by a couple of guys earlier.
ANYWAY THE POINT IS he was like you look hot and I said huh? Thinking I didn't hear correctly and then he said your cat costume is hot (I think, it was barely audible) and I got closer and said what once more and he said your costume is hot and I said oh...

No, if your friend is a true blue friend she won't be doing Anything like this behind your back. The only thing I am seeing that is etched in stone here, is he is hitting on you behind her back and probably every Bare Back from here to Hosh Kosh. Just stay clear of him as much as you can and the next time he tries to approach you from out of the blue, out of the black, tell him to stop or you will blow the whistle on him to your friend.
He is the only schmo I am seeing that will end up putting egg all over your friend's face, should she ever Do find out he is not Man made material for a Commitment.

That was an interesting way to put it but what i got out of it is what i thought all along- he is just a dirty player. I don't ever initiate conversations because I don't like how he just hitd on my behind her back like that because like you said he prob dies that to every other girl he can.

I think that it was not appropriate of him to say considering he is dating your friend and leading you that he is being flirty. On the other hand, he might just be 'flirty'. Some guys are like that : 'flirty' with every girl they met. I would say he appears to be a player nonetheless. Maybe he is 'testing the water' or messing with you for sport. Either way, I wouldn't read too much into it.

I think that because of how you described the guy and also based on his choice of words, more precisely word. "Hot" to me refers to the body (and your costume so the way you look) more than anything else. Of course, one can be attracted to another and still want more. I think therefore he is attracted to you. I think he wants to have sex with you cause it does not try to interact with you other than to check you out, does he? I don't know about how you should act. How do you feel it? Would you be interested in sleeping with this guy - if he had no girlfriend? Do you find him 'hot' as well?

He may have just used the wrong word in saying that you look nice. i don't think he should be calling you hot though especially if he's your best friends bf. she may have set this up if she new you liked or used to like him but that's not what a true best friend does. and if she is truly your best friend they wouldn't be making fun of you. i personally think that you should wait and see if he keeps doing things like that before you decide whether or not he was flirting with you.
