and it seems that teen guys only want white girls, they only like black girls if they are popular?
I am 1/4 black (I have the chocolate skin though), and I am mostly native american.
Teenage guys, the same as younger adults, do not fully understand what they want in life.
There was a psychology study that involved predicting what would make you happy (with food).
The first group of kids, chose what sandwhich they wanted throughout the week.
The second group, was given a different sandwhich each day (like the first group could have).
- The first group was unhappy, because they didn't actually know what they wanted to eat. The sandwhich tasted bland and unoriginal, like they had it before.
- The second group had the same sandwhich as the kids in the first group, but were much happier, because they did not have to decide ahead of time what they wanted.
This is an example of why choosing what you want, can sometimes lead to a mistake. The experience in dating females will give the "teenage boys" a better perspective on what they do want for the future. They are making mistakes, we are all human and make these same mistakes, so who are we to judge?
Your feelings are equal with myself. I feel too skinny and not motivated enough to hold a real relationship. This is the opposite of true, I do almost everything for my entire family, I am going to school full time, and I work full time. I also have multiple females commenting me daily- so my feeling of being undesirable is merely my own perspective.
Sorry about talking so much, I like to keep it short, but I wanted to give you something different to see and think about~

Hmmm.
Let's pretend you are very hot sh*t. Now, that's good right? Of course it is. It's great to be red hot.
Now there's fifty other girls at your school who aren't nearly as hot. Sucks for them. Well wait! They are more accessible to the guys at your school. So at least they get some attention even if they aren't nearly as fine as your tight buns. So... you get the exquisiteness, they get the attention. It's far from perfect but perfectly fair.
Wow I didn't get that at ALL!
Are you kidding?
Uh,
no?
wouldnt the hot one get the attention?
Uh,
no?
wouldnt the hot one get the attention??
No, because only a hot guy can handle a hot girl. Are they guys you are around really really hot?
The guys*
I am not hot, so I can't imagine.
Well there's something going on. Maybe you're not hot but there's serious latent hotness in you.
What is latent?
It's there but it's inaccessible. Like the Sword in the Stone legend. (Only Arthur can pull it out)
*facepalm*
This read is headache inducing.

It is generally a phase, the media and peer pressure teens under a lot of pressure to be attracted to these sorts of women. It is not all men, just some and in many ways I think it is personal preference. If you are happy in your skin then that's all that matters.
I think its just a highschool status thing, and it goes the other way around for the girls only going for the popular guys/ good looking guys. Sorry to say but attraction will ALWAYS play an important part.
They haven't matured yet
When guys mature so do their tastes...Infact a darker complexion is usually seen as good :)
I wasn't shallow when I was younger, I liked most girls, but they just never noticed me. Either its a cultural thing or you should look harder.
Stop going after Abercrombie kids.
No good will come of that.
