I think by Trumps actions that he has shown he is not an isolationist. I think the missile strikes in Syria have proven how much the world needs us. We have a long history that shows how much our strength keeps our enemies at bay. As Reagan said, peace through strength. Obama proved what happens when we follow a Democrats way of doing things. He spent 8 years depleting our strength and trying to talk our enemies into being nice. Our enemies walked all over America (Russia, Iran, ISIS and other terrorists, etc. Our allies lost trust in America. In one move in Syria we have the trust in America again and our enemies are very wary again. On our borders, the Dems want it open and Obama just let them flow in. He and the Dems didn't care if terrorists came in with the illegals. Mexico sides with the Dems because they want their people to leave. Obama is finally gone and illegals trying to cross the border are down 70% since Trump came in. Mexico has a very secure southern border with a fence. The Vatican wants no fences. I haven't seen them take down the wall they have around them. We've never seen the kinds of actions in the world by our enemies. With Obama, they knew he was for one world order and took a big advantage of his week progressive agenda. his administration has been going all over the world to make sure our allies know where we are now coming from and our enemies know there are real consequences if they do the crap they did with Obama's weak ways. The comment below by @strangytie shows very clearly how out of touch the Trump haters are. He's covering the world supporting our allies and she still says he does nothing. How out of touch can with reality you be? She pretty young and is obviously just following Dem talking points without verifying is it's true or not. Bold statements that push a false agenda is foolish at best. Maybe she will change as she gets older. The world has much more peace when we are strong and use it to keep peace. No matter what the Dems say, Obama's 8 years prove, with no doubt, that the world is a better place with America being strong and sending the message that we are back.

I went with B, but "sorta". I think the US should act in its own *self-interest*.
It shouldn't get involved outside of its borders unless the people can calculate some potential gains for the US in doing so. The mindset shouldn't be that of a policeman but one analyzing risk/reward.
For example, aiding an ally could be considered a worthy risk given the potential reward, and it's typically not to the best interest to simply abandon an ally since that could result in the loss of all allies.
So to me it's all about realism, calculated risk/reward, and acting in self-interest. It shouldn't be driven by an idealist mindset which just goes apeshit across the world hoping that things are going to get better regardless of the risk and reward.
Many people are like president Trump and are Isolationists and believe that the U. S. shouldn't be involved in foreign affairs or wars even if our allies are in trouble. Personally I think if you've got allies then you're supposed to help them but the minute the U. S. isn't needed that we should pull out and go home

i voted B mind their own business. however then you have to ask where does america's business ends reach or not reach. you could almost always say that the US has business everywhere if they contribute money to a country, have business dealings with them, etc.
america should not be the world's police.I'm tired of the hypocrites from other countries whining about the US being the world's police, when the US decides to take a step back, they're the first ones to say the US needs to do something. Doomed if you do, doomed if you don't.
I think the US should just stop involving itself in these type of situation, and charge countries when they want their help.I believe if our country is safe we should not get involved with other wars of other countries now if in any way the US is needed to protect us from war or confrontation with terrorist attacks than the US should get involved.
I believe the US will never be totally free from enemies that come our ways
but i do believe befriending countries that we could go into war with very
easy we should love them but do it from afar.Partially agree. The US is needed in Europe because of our lack of strong armies. The US is also needed in the south China sea, the local countries simply have no way of stopping China stealing land and dominating the shipping area, the US has to ensure that doesn't happen and international law is not broken. I also like that the US is killing terrorists wherever they may be. However, I'm not okay with invading countries for illegitimate reasons.
No, it's encroaching on others' rights as human beings and as a sovereign country.
Plus, US can't get their own shit right, but they want to help others.
It's like a parent who neglects their children to help other people's kids.
What an asshole.who the fuck said A.
Its folks like that who are fucking us over.
Do us a favor and just stop voting moronsThey are not the police of the world. They aren't aggressive to countries who flaunt international law. They are aggressive to countries who slight their interests. They are ultimately self serving.
USA should mind it's own business on this. no hate but it's better this way.
Yes this is needed & expected of U. S.
