Why does our society try to justify when women cheat?

A man cheats and he is a pig, a woman cheats and she "wasn't being satisfied" which is bs. If you choose to cheat you shouldn't have society trying to justify it.

I wouldn't say society does, necessarily. But society is more lenient and forgiving of women in general. Sometimes if a guy cheats there's a mindset of "what did she do to make him cheat?", when the reality is always if he was that close to cheating then why didn't he just breakup sooner? Same goes for women. Women are just more likely to put themselves in a position to be seduced so they have the personal justification of saying, "it's not my fault. He seduced me". Then many people will make it more about it being wrong for another man to chase a taken women and removing blame off of her where it deserves to be.

It's romanticized, rather than actually being accepted in the eyes of society. You have a lot of guys that are either sickened by it or guys that try to just accept the reality of what happens. Because regardless of how you or I feel about it that's just always going to be the reality.
Then you have women who are sickened by it, then you have women that give a free license under the right circumstances. Because as sad as it is for most women "are you happy?" is enough reason to potentially cheat in a relationship.

I guess it's because nowadays everything women do is seen as empowering or some shit like that. But it's disgusting that we don't expect women to have the same morals as men.

Most likely because of feminist societies encouraging "anti-slut shaming" and women to become more "sexually liberal", which results in women to whore around while thinking they should be excused to do it.

It goes both ways. You guys on here do the same thing with dudes. You try to protect them and make excuses for em. There is no justification for cheating in general.

The guys who "do that" are usually the ones who cheat themselves, lol. But why does society in general try to justify women cheating, whereas most agree men who do it are pigs, and I think rightfully so in that, but women who do it are also pigs.

I don't think they do. I see them justify both or put down both. What you should be asking is why do they justify it more than look down on it.
