Asking girl friends for advice. Do they mind?

A few months ago I asked two girls, both my friends and friends of the girl I liked, for advice about her. They seemed perfectly fine with talking and giving advice. I only asked about it once and I had a long conversation with one of the girls.

Do girl friends care if you ask for advice from them?

If the girl likes you back, her girl friends would probably know and they would probably be excited to share the good news. I'm not saying it's definitely happening. But when I was growing up this kind of thing took place a lot.

No. As soon as you were done talking to them, they probably turned around and called the girl right away to inform her of what had happened. So it's perfectly okay.

They love it. They definitely told the girl though. Not to harm you, to help you.

That's too bad but at least you got to find out. Keep asking girls for advice when you need it. They will be honest and love giving it and especially matchmaking. Don't expect them to keep a secret though. Most can't.
