My roommate uses my TV and I don't like it.

I love video games so in my room I have a big ass TV and all my consoles. I keep my PS3 set up all the time because I have netflix and hulu on it. She uses it alllll the time. I let her watch something once and she took that as the okay to use it whenever she wants.

She doesn't go to class ever, so she's in the room all day watching my TV. It pisses me off when I come back from 4 hours of classes back to back and I want to do whatever the fuck I want on my shit, but I can't cause she's already on it cause she never left the damn room...She has an ipad and a laptop but refuses to use them.

I told her to ask if she wants to use something. She'll ask if I'm on it, but if I'm at class she just gets on. I turned off the auto sign in on my psn account so she can't use internet (watch netflix/hulu) without my password, but she figured out that it can play DVD's so she just does that all the time too.

What really pisses me off the most is that, she brings guys over to watch movies on my TV, cutting into my weekend (I'm a shut-in, so video games/ internet are an integral part of my weekends). It pisses me off because if I didn't have a TV she'd take her ass to the movies, but nooo now she just brings guys back so they can pretend to watch movies while they fondle each other.

I really just don't like people using my stuff. I like that she does respect it and she's not breaking, which is partly why I continue to let her use it, but I can't take it anymore. I can't be honest and tell people that I'm pissed, so the rage is just festering inside me. I really just want to put my ps3 back in the box so nobody gets to use it, instead of telling her to not use my stuff anymore.

Basically my question is how to tell someone not touch your stuff anymore without being a bitch.

Try to discuss it like to mature adults.

I think you both need to create a list of rules that you should hang up on the wall.

Example:

2 hours max using your television.

If you come from class, and she has already been on it for hours and you ask for it,

she has approximately 15 minutes to log off.

(It doesn't have to be that it's just to give you an idea).

Tell her to lay off! Its YOUR TV and YOUR consoles If you don't want her to use it all the time like that, tell her to get her own and use her own Its your stuff you can take control of how often she uses it. Put tell her in a nice way tho

It's a bit bit much bringing randoms into your room. I draw the line there. Just make an excuse like the PS3 broke and you're taking it to get it fixed. 2 weeks later, put it back and see what happens.

It's more than that, she's breaking your stuff BY using it. Electronics don't last forever, especially the electronics of the 21 century. By the time you get to use your tv, it'll be broken by over-usage. If she uses it 20 times more than you, it'll last 20 times less than usual.

Sorry, LOL! I'm just giving you all the angles. If a light bulb last only 100 hours, but you only turn it on for no more than one hour a year total (like from a attic or basement), then it'll last you 100 years.
