Are braces bad?

Today I found out I will be getting braces because of one stupid tooth! Now tell me the truth, are they that bad?

They are really not that bad they might hurt for a day or too after getting them and when you get them tightened. I had the same exact thing happen to me because of one tooth. Just know that it will be longer then they say by a little if there is something big happening near when you will get them off tell the orthodontist so you will get it off by then. Good luck and remember this.

Oh sweety, don't even worry. My boyfriend has braces and I don't even notice them. Like seriously, in the year and a half we've been together I've asked him like 4 times whether he still has his braces cause I can never tell and I forget that they are there.

They hurt extremely bad whenever they tighten them. And hurt very bad when they take it off.

I'm getting braces because of one tooth as well and I'm totally buzzin' !

I can't wait till I have a PERFECT set of teeth and having braces is cool where I come from anyway :)

No the rubberbands suck though... those hurt bad. Braces may make you a little sore but only for a day or two when they get tightened.
