My ex did my laundry?

Question: Why did my ex do my laundry when he moved out? Background: My ex and I dated for 1.5 years. We broke up because we were arguing over everything. We just couldn't make it work which was frustrating for both because we both loved each other. We broke two weeks ago and he still stayed at my apartment. I was reluctant for him to stay because it would be hard to move on if I still had feelings, which I did. We were friendly but I really worked hard on task he wanted me to complete (keeps things clean). He did not allude to wanting it to work out after the breakup, so I started focusing on myself. He then started to want to go on runs with me and escalated from there. We were doing well but I felt (again) that I was the only one working on better myself and the relationship. I voiced and took ownership on my part of things we were having conflict about but he did not take a responsibility for his part. I was mad and it felt like we were stuck again. I decided he needed to leave because I couldn't move on and felt confused by his behavior (trying but not trying/half in half out) when I voiced I wanted us to work. He was very very angry and said since I kicked him out he would never talk to me again and we would never get back together. I said okay and left the apartment. He moved out that day. When I arrived home, he cleaned the guest room (where he slept after we brokeup), the bathroom, he set up my TV -that was put away in the living room, and did my laundry. Why? Thank in advance!
