Does an ex unblocking you on social media after a month or two mean they want to talk to you again or is it that you don’t faze them anymore?

Not me, but my brother was really nasty to his ex girlfriend and she broke up with him a month ago and blocked him on everything and changed her number. Recently, he was all happy because she unblocked him on Facebook and Facebook messenger but he came to me asking about “women” because he’s confused as to why she would unblock him and it’s been a few days and she still hasn’t messaged him. I think he doesn’t get that a person unblocking you doesn’t mean they want to talk to you, that they miss you etc it could be she’s going through the next phase of the relationship and that she’s moving on to the point she doesn’t care at all to even have you blocked and that seems to be what it is.

When I unblocked my ex, it meant that their posts no longer irritated me and I felt completely indifferent towards them. I didn't do it for them to get in contact with me.
