Should I out my narcissistic ex?

First off I know I shouldn't care but I do.

My narcissistic ex tends to be on social media in his designer clothes flashing lots of money. Meanwhile, he gave me hsv1 and hpv. Luckily I have only had 1 outbreak and it is otherwise under control.

Would it be wrong of me to out him on social media?

He seems so happy like he is doing great and part of me wants to try to burst his bubble. I don't understand how he can be so relaxed knowing he is spreading disease. Plus, I feel like he has ruined me and my chances at love with another man because I am diseased now.

Well first of all he hasn't ruined your chances at love. People are very judgmental and nasty on the internet but you aren't so rare in that you have now contracted this disease. It isn't the end of the world and you can and will find happiness.

It's a lot to deal with but take it in stride.

Don't out him on social media. It will backfire. If he is so selfish as he appears to be, he will be ruthless in tearing you apart publicly. Put him in the trash basket of your life and continue on in dignified silence and don't let this herpes thing destroy your self esteem. Hsv is curable and herpes isnhughly treatable. Now, if someone comes to you personally asking about him then by all means warn them. Relax in meeting someone for awhile, inform yourself about herpes and how to manage it and work on rebuilding your self esteem.

This is a you period a not a you-and-someone else period of your life.

You can reflect on establishing boundaries, and how you will filter out toxic men earlier in in the game. Also, work in any toxicity within yourself.

Outing him on social media would just be stooping to his level...
Better to just keep him out of your life...
If he's knowingly spreading diseases without warning people, or using protection it will eventually catch up to him...
What he's doing isn't only wrong, I believe it's also illegal.

Well. Firstly you should be seeking a lawyer to cover your bills for what he has done. Also, if you win then you look less like a crazy ex.
