So do you think I’m blowing this situation out of proportion?

My (now ex boyfriend) told one of his married co worker friend that me and him broke up. He told me he was the one who told her that we broke up but didn’t give any details on why we did specifically.
So she mentioned to him, “hey do you know she posted on Facebook about how much she appreciates you since you guys broke up?“ He did end up deleting his Facebook for other reasons. But her comment made me feel like I looked crazy or psycho for posting that because me and him broke up recently. Anyways, he told her, “yes I did. She told me about it.” And that was all of the conversation they had.
I got mad at him because he told her something personal and private that doesn’t need to be known in a work place.
Do you think I’m wrong or overacting?

Honestly I just don’t know what to do. Maybe I am overacting or blowing it out of proportion. What should i do? I don’t wanna lose him. He’s been through a lot with me and I want a held that relationship with him but I want a private relationship too. I appreciate the comment though!!
