Would you see your ex if you were me?

My ex broke up with me and over a year ago.. 6 months later he was hanging out with a new girl who I think was using him. He just got back From rehab and reached out to me. I think she dumped him in rehab (even tho they weren’t really together). He asked me to play tennis with him but last time I saw him he was very mean to me And hasn’t even apologized. I feel sorry for him though and still misss him but I don’t want him to be using me. Is it a bad idea to see him?
