My ex who dumped me texted me begging me to go to where he lives for drinks and I told him no and he said he wanted a chance for us to work I also said we’re done and over as I tried with him for ages and all I got was baby steps so I gave up.
He then started calling me names to then apologising saying he was upset and I asked him why and he said he was depressed. Baring on mind I’m depressed myself but he never would care and would hate me for it. And I asked him why is he depressed and he said I just am. And I said maybe you should stop drinking as he was drinking while he was talking to me. And he’s now ghosted me once again I’m done caring for this man because when I try and help it gets me nowhere only me upset. I just don’t get why he always has to bully me or text me we’ve been over a good few months now and it’s like why?

Okay. In my experience, what you described, usually tends to happen when there is miscommunication between the couple and that miscommunication usually comes from impatience on either one, or both parties. Looking at both your age, you are in that age range where this miscommunication thing can happen quite frequently because people in their early twenties, tend to live kind of a fast lifestyle and listening is not one of the strongest skills.

Sometimes, he may not mean to treat you like that but because you are both getting your wires crossed so often, you both get frustrated and say or do things you don't mean. I think taking a break is a good thing to do before you begin to fully hate each other.

There is no miscommunication here lol. This guy cheated on me repeatedly and treated me like dog crap for months showing me what he can do now that he’s single from rubbing girls in my face to everything. While I sat back miserable trying to make a life for myself and he just shat on me lol. I had to block him on every socials as he would just try to put me down still is that way he wants me to be miserable but I’m being strong and have enough of the lies I know my own self worth and he ain’t it.

I saw messages from girls, him being on tinder, he made out with a girl right in front of me, he also was in contact with a prostitute when he was away on a lads holiday lol and I still tried with him as much as I was hurt so ye know there comes a point when enough is enough

Oh okay. That is a bit shitty. I was just asking because I have done that to a girl before who I was with. She did a few things that angered me and i would post photos of other girls just to make her angry as revenge but really and truly, I was with no one.

Relationships can be very messy when a couple ignore actual communication with each other and involve other parties especially when the intent is to make the other jealous or see if the other cares and stuff.

There is nothing as effective as actual one to one communication which most early twenty year old too often ignore.

But your case is very different so I would say, move on.

Yeah no I’ve tried all the communication in the world and he would just keep going after women and partying doing god knows I don't know whether it was just to hurt me or it’s just him but my god I’m so out of there lol moving on was my only resort and it feels good tbh
