My boyfriend, now ex, and I were out of town and we broke up the night before we flew home. We had a “fight” type break up (just because it’s hard and emotions are always high) and didn’t cuddle or sleep together.. but in the morning he held me really close for a long time and it felt.. sweet.. and caring. And then we had sex. I’m confused because we’re not getting back together, but why would he want to have sex the morning after we had a fight and broke up? (I know I could’ve said no.. i guess I’m wondering on the emotional side, why guys do it, because for me it made it emotionally more complicated because I am still hurt and wish it could work out but know it won’t.)
