3 months ago my boyfriend was lying about where he was going at night he was cheating on me with his baby mother (he claimed they didn't have sex) he told me he did this so she wouldn't put him on child support and keep his child away from him I forgave him after a month but I don't trust him anymore and we argue everyday he says I shouldn't be arguing with him everyday and we should be working on our relationship but I just can't help it he really hurt me he told me if we keep arguing after a month we should break up I know where going to keep arguing should I just break things off now?

I feel like it’s almost impossible for the relationship to go back to normal after a cheating incident. Once the trust is broken, it’s very unlikely that it will be back as strong as it used to be or even close to how it was before the betrayal… plus he shouldn’t be rushing you to get over it, it’s gonna take time. He doesn’t even sound guilty, also the fact that he did that to keep his son away from him is a major red flag. Girl, you deserve so much better!

You'll either have to find a way to have faith that what he's saying is the truth or move on to someone else. Allowing it to constantly cause friction isn't going to be conducive to anything but more stress
