My friend was with a girl since he was 19. Initialky, it seemed like she really liked him but it soon became a bit strange. It was LDR mostly as she lived in Greece and he lived in UK, visiting Greece during holidays and she would also come to the UK.
The girl seemed very obsessive and very clingy early on itself. Prior to starting their relationship, she would like all the pictures he's in, even if his friends tag him
She would always sit with him whenever she would see him.
If he would sit with his right leg crossed, she would the same, wear matching clothes/colours and would text him incessantly. She even took up online courses from his university in Leeds and since he's German, she was taking modules in German law, German language and befriending German people too.
She followed both of his researchgate and academia accounts while he didn't. She had also sent friend requests to his father and he had accepted it that time since she was technically his "girlfriend".
However, my friend no longer wants to be with her. he's 26 now and since the last 1 year, he has been trying to break up with her as he said he has fallen out of love with her and no longer sees their relationship
as something he wants.
He has also fallen in love with another girl he met last year and he actually wants to be with her but had to push having a full blown relationship with the girl (she wouldn't hook up and only wants a relationship) because of this current girlfriend.
Stress from studies and the girlfriend and he cheating on her non stop with multiple girls, indulging in a lot of short term flings, casual sex and one night stands.
But she refuses to leave him and each time he tries to end it, she bombards him with texts, calls and even threats to leak nudes/intimate pictures. The last time he tried to end it via a phone call, she threatened to leak his nudes.
What is wrong with this girl and what can he do?

I don’t know what it is about the Profs but they seem to attract the freaks, leave the wives…move in with the graduate student him…live together for 3 years…decide not work and go back to wife and acts like nothing happened…

Sure that part is different, but comparing stories (further than just the first line of his story), I do wonder if someone could get bored enough to write the same story from two perspectives. Just interesting how he posted this last night, and you post this today.
