My girlfriend works with men?

My girlfriend has a job as a caretaker at a school. We used to fight over her making more money than me, but I've since learned to let it go since she threatened to leave me for whining about it.

A new problem now though is that a guy at her work told her that she did a good job cleaning his classroom. I know this because I followed her to work and hid inside a locker while watching her. I saw how smarmy and liberal the guy was just in the way he spoke to her. It was disgusting. I confronted her when she got home and of course I became the bad guy because I'm "controlling" and "psychotic", even though SHE was the one who was complimented at work by a man.

As I'm sure other fellow GAG men on here can relate somewhat to this scenario, how would YOU guys have dealt with this? I'm incredibly insecure about my girlfriend doing things outside of the bounds of what I've already determined is acceptable, and I tend to act out my insecurity through physical abuse, but I'm trying not to do that so much since I think her mom saw a bruise on her the other day. What can I do?
